The Red Head Tapajos (Geophagus pyrocephalus, formerly Geophagus sp. Tapajós) is a vibrantly colored South American eartheater cichlid native to the Rio Tapajós basin in Brazil. Renowned for its striking red-orange crown and long, flowing fins, it stays relatively small, reaching an adult maximum size of about 6 inches (15 cm)
